In an exclusive for Deadline, it was revealed that the director of the Irish folk horror movie would team up with 1185 Films for his next project.
The Empty Cell is set in a prison in near-future Ireland. An unexpected occupant – a transgender woman – is sent to the prison, and when she dies in solitary confinement, others start to succumb to a curse.
1185 Films creator Nick Franco has a long history with Duan and is happy to work together."
