The quest to be the fastest person on a bicycle. Man’s fascination with speed is nothing new. The history books are littered with many records and even more failures. Being out on the limit, where no-one else has been before seems to drive people to do extraordinary things. It’s this fascination that underpins this story.

Neil “Soupy” Campbell has been fixated by speed for as long as he can remember, seeing speed records as the ultimate challenge of mind over body. From The Wiral, now based in Suffolk, the 50 year old Architect raced competitively through the 1990s and early 2000s, going on to compete internationally on the track.
