Ernie is a highly experienced online/offline editor and DoP who has worked in broadcast TV, commercials, film, documentaries, music and sport. As an editor for West End post-production houses, he has cut films for Eurotunnel, ICI, British Airways, Unipart, Ladbrokes, Saatchi and more. He’s been online editor for documentaries by Discovery, Dispatches for C4, Castle Rock/ITN productions and dozens of TV commercials. He was an editor for 30 years in broadcast news for networks including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and CNN. He compiled Disney Saturday morning children’s programmes and did quality control for GMTV. As a DoP, he was technical producer for Nelson Mandela’s 65th birthday concert and a host of other live music shows, as well as several films for 1185.
