At 1185 Films, we pride ourselves on delivering bold, original content that pushes creative boundaries. Björk on the Cornucopia documentary concert film is a testament to this commitment. Working alongside Snowstorm Productions in Lisbon, our team at 1185 Films played a key role in capturing the magic of Björk's visionary performance, live directed by the iconic Chris Cowey.
Cornucopia is a 2025 documentary concert film by Björk, based on her eponymous concert tour (2019–2023). The film captures a performance at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, directed by Icelandic filmmaker Ísold Uggadóttir, with Björk credited as "sound and visual director." The concert visuals—originally projected on screens during the live show—are seamlessly woven into the film, featuring work by German artist Tobias Gremmler, alongside contributions from Andrew Thomas Huang, Gabríela Friðriksdóttir, Warren Du Preez, and Nick Thornton Jones.
A shortened version of Cornucopia was released on Apple Music and Apple TV+ on January 24, 2025, while the full-length theatrical version premiered at the Smárabíó cinema in Iceland on February 1, 2025.
